Resonance is what we feel when disclosure is high — when manifestation genuinely reveals orientation, when surface and depth are aligned. It is not an emotion, exactly, but a quality of experience. Something rings true. Something lands.
Resonance is recognizable but difficult to define. We know it when a piece of writing captures something essential. When a conversation reaches genuine understanding. When a leader's words and actions are unified. When someone's presence communicates more than their performance.
The absence of resonance is equally recognizable. We feel it as hollowness, as performance, as something off. The words are right but the feeling is wrong. The actions are impressive but something is missing.
Resonance matters because it is the signal of authentic engagement. It tells us — and others — that Will is oriented toward the Call rather than away from it. It is the experiential evidence of disclosure.
